Lyn Harris is Britain's outstanding perfumer. She combines the old traditions of creating perfumes while unambiguously pursuing a modern approach to her personal expression. Her sense of smell was cultivated as a child in a Scottish garden and later developed on trips to France, discovering the Guerlain, Patou and Chanel classics. Here, she studied at Robertet, a Grasse institution since 1850 (whose 1875 factory was built by engineer Gustave Eiffel who also built the Eiffel Tower in Paris). Harris, now a professional "nose," returned to Britain able to distinguish hundreds of aromas.

In 2000, she built a laboratory in London and established the Miller Harris brand as a vehicle for the purest and most sensual natural perfumes. Her aim is simple: uncompromised pleasure achieved through quality of ingredients and crafted by an exceptional talent.

The Miller Harris personal candles are approximately 6.7cm in diameter by 8cm high (2 5/8" x 3 1/4") in a beautifully designed, slightly tapered glass holder. These candles provide light that is as flattering to a room as a perfume is to a person.
