Meet The Founder
Visage Studio founder, Denise Spanek has flown all over the world in search of the perfect skin care products. Her mission has taken her to exotic tiny villages in Marrakesh and to chic Paris beauty boutiques. Spanek is an expert aesthetician with 20 years of experience. A talented TV and film make- up artist, Ms. Spanek has worked with many high profile celebrities and VIP clients. Her own special oasis, Visage Studio, is located in San Francisco.

The Beauty industry came naturally. Originally from California, Denise had always looked up to her mother, who was flawlessly groomed despite raising three children and a full time career. Another inspiration was the power of metamorphosis. Looking at her now, you'd never believe this, but she claims to have once been a homely overweight kid. "I realized in my teens how a healthy lifestyle and using the right products could change you - make you feel good inside, look good outside."

Exclusive hard to find beauty lines are her focus. Denise says, "There has to be a personal story or experience I have with each brand." Some of her favorites; Anne Semonin, Wallett, Marie Galland, Earthworks, Per-fékt Beauty, Susan Posnick, TSI Organics and other luxury lines are available at both her San Francisco studio and the Visage Studio online skin care and beauty store.

Denise has passionately dedicated her life to finding the best skin and beauty products and ingredients. Her travels have taken her far and wide. And it doesn't show. Why? Denise has also developed her own skin care product concept and brand under the Air Repair™ label. The Air Repair Kit, which is her trademarked concept, combines luxury skin care products, including her own proprietary brand to help prevent jet-lagged looking skin. She laughs admitting, "I was tired of arriving at my destinations looking like a Shar Pei."

A former marathon runner, Denise is passionate, tenacious and driven which is evident in her pursuit of perfection when she is developing her own products or looking for a new line. Every detail is important. She is focused not just on her product's results, but the ingredients. Health and beauty are paramount and she never sacrifices one for the other. She scrutinizes the textures, the scent - how will it make her clients feel? How does she feel when she smells it and applies it to her own skin?

Spanek makes sure to take care of herself with yoga and taking long deep breaths several times a day. Balance is the key to her success and is also evident in Visage Studio and her Air Repair Kit products. Her philosophy is based on enjoying treatments and products internally, externally and emotionally.

Her goal? Globally great skin.
